Bishop to be honored for 25 years as pastor

Bishop Duane C. Tisdale will be honored next weekend for 25 years as pastor of Friendship Baptist Church.

The festivities will include a banquet Friday at the Pinnacle in Maumee; a celebration honoring Bishop Tisdale for receiving a doctor of ministry degree at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at Friendship Baptist, 5301 Nebraska Ave.; and a worship service at the church at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 11.

The public is invited to all events. Banquet tickets are $45 each, available by calling the church, 419-531-3242; the Dec. 10 and 11 events are free.
