Nu-Vizion Church to fete end of its jubilee year

Nu-Vizion United Church of Christ, 2014 Cherry St., is celebrating the conclusion of its seventh -- and jubilee -- year with a celebration and open house from noon to 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Will Stuart, pastor, said the celebration will include poets and spoken-word artists, singer-songwriters, visual artists, and guest speaker the Rev. Ed Heilman. The Rev. David Schoen, a national UCC team leader for evangelism and congregational vitality, will speak and be a communion co-officiant.
