“Welcoming the Stranger” will have a second evening at the Ursuline Center, 4035 Indian Rd. April 3, with a Middle Eastern supper at 5 p.m. and prayer and a presentation at 6 p.m. by Shane and Lona Lakotos of Social Services for the Arab Community, a project the Lakotoses founded that provides direct services and advocacy to Arab families with limited English and low income.
The first “Welcoming the Stranger” evening in November was on the topic of ministry at the United States-Mexico border.
RSVPs for the meal are requested by Friday, March 22. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 419-536-9587. A freewill offering for the Lakotoses’ organization will be collected at the door.
