Three Christian-oriented books were recently published by Toledo area authors. Todd Johnson, writing with Jeff Ferris, wrote dykJC? Developing a Sense of Urgency for Evangelism: An Effective Evangelistic Tool for the World, printed via instant publishing. Christopher Jones penned Poems for Christ, published through WestBow Press, the self-publishing arm of the publisher Thomas Nelson. Also from WestBow is Sandy Blank’s My Physical Scars Are Beautiful: They Represent God’s Answer to Prayer, which is her account of physical recovery and spiritual healing after a motorcycle accident in 2006.
Mr. Johnson’s book is available through dykjc.com. Copies of Mr. Jones’s book are at Ukazoo Books, 830 N. Westwood Ave. Mrs. Blank will sign copies of her book at the Book Nook, 42 S. Monroe St. in Monroe, Mich., on Saturday, May 11, from noon to 2 p.m.
