Vacation Bible School

Emmaus Lutheran Church vacation bible school, 6-8 p.m. June 16-20, 841 N. Shoop Ave. Wauseon. A Family Wellness Program will run concurrently with VBS, for parents and older children. Sylvania First United Methodist vacation bible school, 9 a.m. to noon June 17-21, 7000 Erie St., Sylvania. Children ages 3 through 5th grade. The theme for this year is “Fun Fair Everywhere.” Children will make crafts, engage in mission work and enjoy great music all while learning about the bible. Cost: $7 for T-shirts, and scholarships are available. Common Ground, Sylvania First’s popular Saturday service, has moved to Mondays for the summer starting June 3.
