The three-day Heartland Travel Showcase begins today at SeaGate Convention Centre in downtown Toledo.
The trade show draws tour operators from across North America to meet with exhibitors representing convention and visitors bureaus, attractions, and hotels throughout the Midwest.
The showcase is expected to bring more than 600 attendees with more than 800 total hotel-room nights, Destination Toledo, the convention and visitors bureau, says.
It said the showcase will return again in 2014. It was last here in 1988.
