The Rave theaters around the Toledo area are now owned by movie-chain Cinemark.
Most of Toledo's movie theaters are now officially owned by Cinemark Holdings Inc.
Officials at Cinemark said today that they have completed their acquisition of Rave Cinemas, the dominant theater chain in the Toledo area.
But James Meredith, a spokesman for Cinemark, said customers are unlikely to see any immediate changes at the three Toledo-area movie complexes previously owned by Rave.
He said if any changes are made, they won't come until after the summer.
In acquiring the Rave Cinemas chain, Cinemark now controls the Franklin Park 16 theater in Toledo, the Levis Commons 12 in Perrysburg, and the Fallen Timbers 14+Xtreme in Maumee.
