The following students in the Bowling Green State University honors program have been awarded J. Robert Bashore scholarships, which recognize academic achievement and extracurricular activities.
Curtis Bunner of Maumee, a 2003 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and a junior majoring in physics, received a $1,300 scholarship.
Bradley Showman of Maumee, a 2003 Bowsher High School graduate, received a $1,750 scholarship.
He is a junior in philosophy.
Nnenna Sophia Ononye of Bowling Green was awarded a $500 scholarship.
The senior in biochemistry and pre-medicine is a graduate of the Federal Government College in Enuguy, Nigeria.
