•Ruth Blank Essay Contest for children in grades K through 12, sponsored by the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. The theme is "How Tall Is Your Tale?" Categories are K-second grade, third-fifth, sixth-eighth, and ninth-12th. Prizes will be awarded to winning essay entrants: first place $200, second place $100, third place $50 and six honorable mentions at $25 each.
