t Monday Mysteries book club: Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett discussed at 7 p.m. April 16, Wood County District Public Library, North Main Street. Girls Night Out romance readers will discuss Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani at 7 p.m. April 30.

t Crim Elementary School 4th and 5th grade Science Festival, 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 20 in the school gym at 1020 Scott Hamilton St. Parents and the community are invite to see the students present their experiments to the rest of the school. Boat rides on the hour, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit the Isaac Ludwig Mill and shop at the General Store. Fee: $6.
