Rt. 65, a mile west of downtown Perrysburg. The soldier through history, including Roman soldiers, Viking warriors, Revolutionary War and Civil War soldiers, Woodland Indians, cowboys, and troops from both World Wars and modern wars. Camps and weapons demonstrations by each group, historic fashion show. Viking encampment, raiding boat, Viking Village and crafts. Period merchants and musicians, living historians and artisans. t "The Summer Skies Over Toledo," Fridays from June 15 to 29 at 8:30 p.m., Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory, University of Toledo, Bancroft Street campus. Live, interactive program on the stars, constellations and planets that are visible from backyards in the Toledo area. "Our Planet," program for children ages 6-12, held 1 p.m. Saturdays through June 30. The Earth's interaction with the sun and moon and how it affects daily life on the planet. Admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors and children ages 3-12. Children 2 and younger admitted free. t The Appold Planetarium at Lourdes College presents its summer full dome show at 7:30 p.m., June 22. "The Universe and All That" explores the universe from its beginning to the present. Admission is $4 adult and $3 child. Reservations required: 419-517-8897.

t Free summer writers' forum at Owens Community College, now through July 25, open to community members and writers of all ages and genres, meeting every Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. in the Writing Center, College Hall Room 156-D to discuss and critique creative writing with college faculty, peers and published authors. Topics: June 20, fiction and flash-fiction; June 27, narrative poetry; July 11, image and language poetry; July 18, performance poetry; and July 25, publication. The forum will not meet on July 4.
