t Dairy Day at the Wood County Historical Center and Museum, 1 to 4 p.m. June 23, 13660 County Home Rd., Bowling Green. Dairy making demonstrations and hand-on activities.

t An Unusual Nature Walk, 7 to 8 p.m. June 21 at Cricket Frog Cove area, half mile west of the Slippery Elm Trail on Freyman Road, Cygnet, Ohio. Discover nature from some un-natural clues. Register: www.wcparks.org or call 1-800-321-1897.

t Otsego Park: Downriver canoe or kayak trips, self-guided, 11 a.m. and noon Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, now through Labor Day, Otsego Canoe Livery at Otsego Park, State Rt. 65 and State Rt. 235. Canoeists and kayakers are taken by bus from Otsego Park to Grand Rapids, where they paddle downstream. Trips are 1 1/2 to 3 hours. Canoe and paddle, $26.50. Kayak, $12. Prepaid reservations only, by the Thursday before each trip. Reservations: 1-800-321-1897, Park District Headquarters, or 419-353-1897 outside Wood County.


• Fiesta party, 1 to 2 p.m. June 14 at South branch library, 1736 Broadway. Dance troupe, "El Corazon de Mexico," will perform; free food and crafts for the family.
