St. John's Jesuit High School
Ian Moore, a senior from Maumee, plans to study architecture in college. He has a 3.6 grade-point average and enjoys math and art.
Ian has been a recipient of the Magna Cum Laude Award for the last four years. He is a sports reporter for TV-4, St. John's television station; a retreat leader, and a cheerleader. Ian plays CYO basketball for St. Joseph in Maumee, is active with the St. John's Christian Service department, and has volunteered at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
"I have had the pleasure of watching Ian grow into a mature, caring, and compassionate young man," said Kim Hall, theology teacher. "I have witnessed him as a retreat leader to underclassmen, as a tutor to elementary kids, and as a committed volunteer at hospice, where his kind manner exceeded their expectations. Ian truly lives the Jesuit motto of being a 'man for others.'•"
Ian is the son of Scott and Jackie Moore.
