Angel Tree and Canned Food Drive to help needy area families. Take an angel tag from the tree in the Monclova Community Center, purchase and wrap the item listed, and return it to the community center, 8115 Monclova Rd., by Dec. 17. Nonperishable food items also needed. Details: 419-861-1336.

Holiday Magic Show, 7 p.m. Dec. 11, with the Maumee Library presenting Gordon the Magician with reindeer, elves, and snowmen.

Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra holiday concert, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front St. Holiday favorites with the Perrysburg Symphony Chorale. Tickets at the door are $10. Free for children under age 12.

Way Public Library film series presents the 1940 Christmas-themed film, Remember the Night, with Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck, 10 a.m. Dec. 11. A documentary portrait of two elderly women, Sunset Story, will be shown 7 p.m. Dec. 12. Admission and refreshments to the films are free.
