Perrysburg Schools, known for strong programs in choir, band, and orchestra, has been named one of the “Best 100 Communities for Music Education” in an annual survey by the NAMM Foundation.
Only 14 Ohio districts were selected for the honor which acknowledges schools and districts across the country for their commitment and support of music education. This is the fifth year in the row for Perrysburg to receive the designation.
NAMM Foundation sponsors the annual survey in partnership with leading music and educational organizations to promote the benefits of music and music education. For the survey, information is gathered about district financial support, community support, number of music faculty, and the number and types of music classes offered by the schools.
