Zion Lutheran Church is offering free tutoring for kindergartners through fourth graders this school year.
The fall session runs Sept. 25 until Nov. 15. A winter session is scheduled for Jan. 8 through Feb. 28.
The program, led by trained volunteer tutors, works one on one with students, according to a written statement from the church.
To register a child for the “Pockets of Hope” free tutoring program, parents can get forms at Zion Church, 22 N. 2nd St., or at zionwaterville.com.
Deadline to register is Sept. 20. More information is available from the church at 419-878-0266.
