Owens Community College’s clothing swap event will be held Oct. 16.
“Swap-It-Up” seeks gently used, laundered clothing for adult men and women of all sizes, including T-shirts, pants, dresses, ties, dress shirts, blue jeans, skirts, shoes, jackets, coats, sweatpants and sweatshirts, among other items.
During the clothing swap from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Health and Activities Center on the Perrysburg Township campus, donations will be accepted and individuals will be given a ticket voucher for each item brought, good for items in the donated section.
Any items not claimed during the clothing swap event, presented by the college’s Student Activities Office, will be donated to Cherry Street Mission Ministries.
