'The Editors' to examine smoking ban

Compliance and enforcement issues pertaining to the state's new smoking ban will be the topic this weekend on The Editors television program.

Mike Renner, executive director of the Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation Foundation, and Jay Carey, director of public affairs for the Ohio Department of Health, are the guests on the show.

The two will be discussing the transition toward compliance with the smoking ban, which Ohio voters passed on Nov. 7. The measure approved was the stricter of two that appeared on the ballot.

The Editors will be broadcast at 9 tonight on WGTE-TV, Channel 30, and at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on WBGU-TV, Channel 27.
