Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland is embarking on a tour across the state this summer to discuss education reform.
The 12-stop Governor s Conversation on Education tour will be from July 22 to Sept. 15, with stops in Lima and Toledo.
The forum discussions will focus on how to foster an education system that is innovative, personalized, and linked to economic prosperity.
A second round of forums will be held in the fall in advance of the governor s education reform proposal planned to be introduced in 2009.
The Lima event will be at4 p.m. Aug. 15 at Rhodes State Community College and the governor will be in Toledo at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 for an event at Rogers High School.
