Nonprofit helps tornado victims

Buckets of cleaning supplies are being collected by ISOH/IMPACT to aid those affected by recent tornado outbreaks across the country.

Suggested donations for the Bucket Brigade campaign include a 5-gallon lidded bucket with cleaning supplies, personal care items, first aid supplies, pet supplies, and canned and nonperishable food items. Cash donations of $35 will be used to fill, ship, and distribute buckets.

Other donations being collected include paper products, laundry detergent, new tents, tarps, blankets, sleeping bags, bottled water, brooms, mops, rakes, shovels, box fans, and shop vacuums. No glass items or clothing will be accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at any Toledo-area Tireman Auto Service Center or at ISOH/IMPACT's distribution center at 905 Farnsworth Rd., Waterville, where there is a PODS container for items.

Large-scale corporate and manufacturing donations can be made by calling ISOH/IMPACT at 419-878-8548.

Monetary donations can be made online at www.isohimpact.org or mailed to the ISOH/IMPACT offices at 25182 W. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
