Ohio deputies kill man who pointed gun at them, refused to drop it
MARION, Ohio — Sheriff's deputies in Ohio say they fatally shot a man who pointed a gun at them.
Marion County deputies killed the man Sunday night at a mobile home park. Media reports said the man had a rifle and was firing shots into the air when deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute between the man and his girlfriend.
He was shot at about 10:30 p.m. after refusing to drop his gun and died later at a hospital.
The investigation continues.
