Kate's eight are free to appear on their mom's upcoming reality show.

A spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry says producers have obtained child-labor permits for Kate Gosselin's twins and sextuplets to appear with their mother on a series of TLC specials, Kate Plus 8.

Troy Thompson said yesterday that the permits are good for six months, then must be renewed.

Regulators concluded last month that permits should have been obtained for Gosselin's old show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. The series ended last year when Kate split with her husband, Jon.

No legal action was taken, but the producers agreed to submit paperwork for any future taping.

Avatar is maintaining its popularity in the move from box office to home video, with sales of 6.7 million DVDs and Blu-ray disks in the first four days.

Twentieth Century Fox announced Sunday that James Cameron's sci-fi epic has sold 2.7 million Blu-rays and 4 million DVDs since being released Thursday.

The combined sales brought in $130 million.

The studio says Avatar has become the fastest-selling Blu-ray of all time.

A Fox spokesman said a 3-D release is planned.

Even the rich and famous enjoy a bargain.

Melania Trump will launch her line of affordable jewelry Friday on QVC. Each item in the Melania Timepieces & Jewelry collection costs less than $200.

The 40-year-old model could have created a fine jewelry line but said in a telephone interview from Palm Beach, Fla., that she wanted something more accessible. And now that her 4-year-old son, Barron, is in school, she has more time to work on sketches and designs.

"I'm completely involved from A to Z, 100 percent. … I go through the samples and have to approve every piece."

The line is broken up into three categories inspired by places Trump calls home: New York, Palm Beach, and Paris. The New York items are created with a businesswoman in mind; Palm Beach is more sporty, and Paris is more flashy and glamorous.

Trump said she didn't consult her real estate mogul husband, Donald, much about her venture.

"He knows I'm doing it, but we didn't talk much," she said. "I'm not a big talker; I prefer to do it and then when it's done to come out and show. I don't like people who talk, talk, talk and then don't deliver."

America's Got Talent is holding auditions online.

Performers can upload their audition videos through June 18 to the America's Got Talent site on YouTube, producer Fremantle Media North America and NBC announced yesterday.

Producers will select 40 acts to be posted on the site. Then YouTube viewers will vote for their favorites. The top vote-getter will perform on America's Got Talent alongside 11 other YouTube acts chosen by producers. The online auditions will supplement in-person tryouts staged across the U.S. in a half-dozen cities.

The new season of AGT premieres June 1.
