The 1996 documentary Toledo Stories: Toledo on the Air returns to the local public-supported airwaves with an added bonus: live studio interview segments interspersed throughout the program.

The two-hour Toledo TV History: A Toledo Stories Special airs at 8 tonight on WGTE-TV, Channel 30. The documentary chronicles the early days of television in Toledo, beginning with the exodus of news broadcasters from radio up through the end of the 1960s.

Broadcaster Bill Harris hosts the interview segments and talks with Gordon and Connie Ward, the former newscaster and Miss Connie of Romper Room, whose live televised nuptials in Toledo were the talk of the town, and Frank Venner, best known for his Weather in the Weather segments.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is coming to Ohio with a different kind of solo show, spotlighting his paintings and other art.

The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown says the exhibition is the first for Wood at a major American museum. The 63-year-old British musician plans to be at the show's opening reception on Sept. 21.

Butler chief curator and director Louis Zona describes Wood's art style as lively and appealing. The exhibition includes 30 of Wood's paintings, 22 pen-and-pencil drawings, and seven mixed-media works.

The exhibit will run through Nov. 21.

A New York City photographer claims one of her images is being used without her consent as a backdrop in the Tony award-winning Broadway musical Fela!

In a lawsuit filed against the show's producers, Marilyn Nance is asking $150,000 for copyright infringement. The photo is of musician Fela Kuti's nightclub in Lagos, Nigeria. The musical is about the late Afro-beat Nigerian superstar.

Nance's photo also appears on the show's souvenir material.

The producers include Jay-Z and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Their spokesman says they've tried but weren't able to resolve the dispute.

Spokesman Richard Kornberg says they're in the process of replacing the image.
