Monroe High School’s National Technical Honor Society has sworn in 34 members, bringing its ranks to 47 for the school year.
Teachers Tim Smith and Victoria Sweet are the group’s co-advisers. The Monroe High School chapter is one of more than 2,500 nationally at high schools and colleges. To be considered, a student must be enrolled in the career and technical education department and have an overall 3.0 GPA, a 3.5 GPA in the CTE department, and no more than four absences per trimester, and have finished three CTE classes.
