Time: 7 p.m.
Records: Central Michigan is 9-16, 3-13 MAC; Toledo is 13-12, 8-7.
Last games: CMU lost to Kent State; UT lost at Ball State 63-59; 79-56
Outlook: The Rockets have nothing but must-wins left as they sit in a tie for third place in the MAC West with Ball State, a game behind co-leaders Bowling Green and Western Michigan. Toledo has three regular season MAC games remaining, and has a schedule that appears easier than those of the other three contenders for the West crown, as it faces the bottom three teams in the division. UT has struggled in close games, losing seven of the nine times that games were decided by five points or less. The Rockets were out-rebounded by a 40-28 margin in their Thursday loss at Ball State, and can ill afford a similar showing against the Chippewas. Toledo won the first meeting 64-56 in Mount Pleasant.
