UT notes: The Rockets will try to build off their exciting win against Wright State last Saturday. UT had a balanced attack with three players in double figures. In this matchup, the last home game before the conference season begins, the Rockets will try to improve on their 3-of-17 3-point shooting from last time. Like the men s team, UT also wants to get off to better starts, trailing by at least nine points in the first half of four of its six games.

Oakland notes: Oakland is also coming off a thrilling victory, an overtime win over Illinois State. The Golden Grizzlies have four starters back from last season s 21-8 team, but lost four of their first five games before winning the past two contests. Three Oakland players average double figures in points: guards Jayme Wilson (17.4) and Anne Hafeli (16.9) and forward Nicole Piggott (13.4).

On deck: The Rockets travel to Cincinnati on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
