The Rockets' five-game losing streak is the longest since they lost six straight in the 1999-2000 season. UT has two more games on the road before its next home game Dec. 8 against Drexel. Junior forward Sam Young leads Pitt with 18.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Freshman center DeJuan Blair adds 10 points and eight rebounds. The Golden Grizzlies' top returning scorer from last year, Erik Kangas, was injured in the season opener and returned Wednesday against Xavier, playing 12 minutes off the bench. Derick Nelson leads Oakland in scoring (18 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg), while guards Brandon Cassise and Johnathon Jones average 15.2 and 12.2 ppg, respectively. Kampe's name surfaced during the offseason as a possible candidate to fill the coaching position at BG. The Falcons had 10 blocks in a 67-58 win at Furman on Tuesday.
