UT s Mays named West player of week

University of Toledo junior Tanika Mays was named the Mid-American Conference West division player of the week by the league office Monday.

In a pair of UT victories, Mays averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.5 assists. She shot 58.8 percent (10-of-17) from the field and 73.3 percent (11- of-15) from the free-throw line.
