Senior guard Tyrone Kent has been named Mid-American Conference West Division player of the week Monday.
Kent was honored for the first time this season and second time in his career after averaging 21.0 points and 5.5 rebounds registering a 61.5 field-goal percentage in the Rockets' two games last week.
Kent scored a MAC season-high 26 points and grabbed three steals in Toledo's 71-67 win over Ball State on Wednesday. He also collected 16 points and nine rebounds at Indiana State on Saturday.
