The University of Toledo is in the running for a MAC West baseball title with an 11-7 record, but they have a long way to go.
They went a long way yesterday at Scott Park and didn't get a bit closer to that title, nor did they lose ground.
Western Michigan and Toledo were deadlocked 9-9 after nearly 4 1/2 hours and 15 innings when darkness halted the game. It will be resumed Saturday at 1, followed by Saturday's regularly scheduled game.
Chris Dudics and Dan Sherwood had four hits apiece Friday with a chance to add more Saturday.
