The University of Toledo released its football schedule Monday with home games against Arizona, Wyoming and Bowling Green being the highlights of the 2010 season at the Glass Bowl.
The Rockets will play host to Arizona on Sept. 3 and Wyoming on Oct. 2, and Mid-American Conference opponents Kent State (Oct. 16), Ball State (Oct. 23), Bowling Green (Nov. 17) and Central Michigan (Nov.6).
UT's road games are at Ohio (Sept. 11), Western Michigan (Sept. 18), Purdue (Sept. 25), Boise State (Oct. 9), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 30) and Northern Illinois (Nov. 9).
"Seven schools on our schedule played in bowl games last year, so it is clearly one of the most difficult schedules in the history of our program," UT coach Tim Beckman said. "But I know our players and coaches are excited for the challenge. The non-conference schedule will really give us a chance to measure our progress as a football team."
Teams that played in bowl games last season are Boise State (14-0 in 2009), Arizona (8-5), Wyoming (7-6), CMU (12-2), Ohio (9-5), NIU (7-6) and BGSU (7-6).
