UT women play Alabama in Toledo
The University of Toledo women's basketball team will take on Alabama at Savage Arena at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the third round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.
The Crimson Tide (18-14) defeated Northwestern 72-70 on the road Sunday afternoon.
The Rockets (25-8) have been waiting to find out their opponent, along with the date and site of their next round matchup, since rolling past Auburn 67-52 on Saturday.
UT is 2-0 all-time at home against Southeastern Conference opponents.
