UT football coach signs 2-year contract extension

University of Toledo and football coach Tim Beckman have completed a two-year contract extension to keep Beckman at the school through the 2015 season.

The deal gives Beckman a bump in pay of $5,000 per season and restructures some of the incentives from the initial contract he signed in December 2008. Beckman's salary in 2011 will be $360,000.

Beckman guided UT to an 8-5 season in 2010, highlighted by the school's first bowl game appearance in five years.
