UT swim coach resigns

BLADE STAFF

University of Toledo swimming and diving coach Liz Hinkleman resigned Friday after two seasons to pursue other coaching opportunities, the university announced.

An alumnus of the program, Hinkleman led the Rockets to the Mid-American Conference title last season and a runner up finish in 2011. She was named MAC coach of the year in last season.

UT athletic director Mike O’Brien said a search for Hinkleman’s replacement will begin immediately.
