Kentucky high school quarterback commits to University of Toledo

BLADE STAFF

The University of Toledo received a verbal commitment Wednesday from Kentucky quarterback Logan Woodside.

Woodside, of Franklin County High School, fills the void in this class created by the departure of quarterback Javon Harrison, who de-committed last weekend and announced his desire to sign with Cincinnati.

Woodside is a two-star recruit by Rivals.com, which lists him as 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. He reportedly had offers from Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Western Illinois, Western Kentucky, and Troy. He is unranked by Scout.com.

UT now has nine commitments in the 2013 class.
