Toledo's Rian Pearson soars for two points.

Rian Pearson has been named the Mid-American Conference West player of the week, the league office announced today. Pearson is being honored for a MAC-best fifth time this season and eighth occasion in his career.
Pearson registered his third double-double in his last four games in UT’s 79-66 win Saturday over McNeese State to propel Toledo to its seventh victory in its last eight games. He tallied a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds against the Cowboys to go along with three assists and one steal in 32 minutes.
Pearson leads the MAC with 18.3 ppg and also appears in the league rankings with 33.5 mpg (5th), 1.7 spg (5th), 4.9 def. rpg (4th), 7.0 rpg (7th) and 2.1 off. rpg (11th).
