UT men fall at Ball State

Cardinals drain 13 3-pointers to improve to 10-4

MUNCIE, Ind. – The University of Toledo men's basketball team started its Mid-American Conference schedule with a blowout loss on the road, falling 87-69 to Ball State tonight at Worthen Arena.

The Cardinals (10-4, 1-0) led for most of the night. They shot 30-for-62 (48.4 percent) and made 13 3-pointers.

Ryan Weber scored a career-high 21 for Ball State.

Stuckey Mosley led Toledo (9-5, 0-1) with 17 points.

The Rockets next play Saturday at Miami.
