DAYTON — The University of Toledo basketball team erased a second-half deficit and defeated Wright State 82-78 tonight at the Wright State Nutter Center.

Jaelan Sanford led the Rockets (2-1) with 23 points, while Jonathan Williams added 22. Steve Taylor Jr. had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Mark Alstork paced Wright State (2-1) with 39 points.

HALFTIME

The University of Toledo men's basketball team trails Wright State 39-38 at halftime at the Wright State Nutter Center.

Steve Taylor Jr. leads the way for Toledo with 10 points and six rebounds Jaelan Sanford added nine points, while Daniel Dzierzawski had eight.

Mark Alstork is pacing Wright State with 17 points.
