CLEVELAND — Toledo was clicking on all cylinders Saturday as the Rockets women’s team routed Cleveland State 92-59 at the Wolstein Center, improving to 3-0 for the first time in 10 seasons.
The Rockets were 33-of-76 from the field, including 11-of-27 from 3-point range.
Junior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott led a season-high five Toledo players in double figures with a game-high 17 points. Sophomore Mikalea Boyd posted her first career double-double, with 11 points, 10 rebounds and added seven assists.
Senior Janice Monakana added 14 points, and sophomore Olivia Cunningham and freshman Mariella Santucci chipped in 10 points each as the Rockets, who have their first 3-0 start since 1996-97, topped 90 or more points for the first time since scoring 101 against Akron on Jan. 14, 2015..
The Rockets next play Davidson at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Cancun Challenge.
