University of Toledo senior guard Tre'Shaun Fletcher has been named Mid-American Conference West Division player of the week.
Fletcher, who is in his first season at Toledo, averaged 23.5 ppg, 9.0 rpg and 5.0 apg last week to help the Rockets to a pair of victories over Ohio Northern and Oakland. The two victories improved UT to 3-0 this season, marking Toledo’s best start since going 12-0 to open the 2013-14 season.
Fletcher registered his first career double-double with a career-high 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists against the Polar Bears. He then scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Rockets’ 87-74 win over Oakland.
