Storm falls in shootout

WHEELING, W.Va. - The Storm lost to Wheeling 3-2 in a shootout last night.

Wheeling started the scoring at 9:18 of the first when Jordan Cameron sent a shot at Ervins Mustukovs that deflected off the Storm goalie and into the back of the net.

The Nailers outshot Toledo 18-9 in the first period.

The Storm would tie the game at 1 when Matt Zultek netted his 21st goal of the season on a wrist shot past Andy Franck.

The Nailers would retake the lead at 13:56 of the second when Ned Havern scored.

Franck was perfect in the shootout, stopping all five Toledo shooters.
