Toledo Walleye return to home ice to face Evansville tonight

They host Florida, the defending league champs, at 5 p.m. on Sunday. …Toledo (14-10-1) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 home win over Wheeling on Wednesday. ... The Walleye are in second in the ECHL North Division, one point behind Cincinnati. Evansville (10-14-2) is last in the North, eight points out. … Toledo is 0-3-0 against the expansion IceMen. … Coach Nick Vitucci, who coached in his 500th game on Dec. 1, earned his 250th regular-season win on Wednesday. He now has a 250-213-41 record in the regular season. … G Kent Simpson stopped 30 of 32 shots on Wednesday to improve to 6-6-1. … F Willie Coetzee, who scored on Wednesday, leads the team with 22 points (11 G, 11 A).
