Walleye sign new defenseman, forwards


The Toledo Walleye have as signed defenseman Erik Spady and forward Nino Musitelli, and forward Tyler Brenner has been assigned to the Walleye by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Walleye have released defenseman Tyler Miller and have traded defenseman Dean Moore to the Florida Everblades, in exchange for future considerations. Miller and Moore each played in three games for the Walleye.

Spady played in 34 games this season for the Fort Worth Brahmas of the Central Hockey League, scoring three goals and 14 assists, and Musitelli played in 20 games this season with the Allen Americans of the CHL, scoring two goals and three assists.

Brenner played in 32 games this season with Bakersfield of the ECHL and scored eight goals and 13 assists.
