Toledo Walleye forward Willie Coetzee, the team's leading scorer, was selected today to play in the ECHL All-Star Game.

Coetzee is among 10 players who were added to ECHL all-star roster to replace players who have been called up to the American Hockey League, including Toledo's Luke Glendening and Ben Youds.

Coetzee leads the league with 148 shots on goal. He also paces the Walleye with 33 points, and is tied for the team lead in both goals (14) and assists (19).

The ECHL All Star Game will be held Jan. 23 at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colo.

Youds and Glendening had both been named to the all star game before being called up earlier this month.

Youds, a defenseman, was called up to Rockford. Youds ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 27 points, including a team-high 24 assists.

Glendening, a forward, was promoted to Grand Rapids. Glendening, a rookie, scored 14 goals and had seven assists for Toledo.

The Walleye play at Fort Wayne on Friday night.
