Toledo Walleye forward Coetzee scores in ECHL all-star game


LOVELAND, Colo. -- Toledo forward Willie Coetzee scored a second-period goal for the ECHL all-stars on Wednesday night in a 7-3 win over the Colorado Eagles in the 20th annual event.

Evansville's Nathan Moon registered the assist on the goal.

Wheeling's Andrew Hotham tallied two goals in the win while Utah's Mitch Wahl and Gwinnett's Casey Pierro-Zabotel each added two assists.

Colorado's Michael Forney, A.J. Hau, and Joey Sides each scored in the loss.

Coetzee has tallied 16 goals and 19 assists in 39 games for the Walleye this season.
