Toledo Walleye defenseman Gleason Fournier was called up to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League today.
Fournier has split time between Grand Rapids and Toledo this season. He has skated in 15 games with Toledo and has scored one goal. The 21-year-old also has played in 21 games with the Griffins, scoring one goal to go along with three assists.
In 55 games last year with the Walleye, Fournier had two goals and 16 assists.
Toledo plays at Kalamazoo on Friday night before returning for the final two home games of the regular season on Saturday and Sunday.
