The front that dropped almost three inches of rain on some parts of Lucas County, including areas of West Toledo, was moving south away from the area, Mark Adams, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Cleveland, said late this afternoon.
He said he did not expect sustained rain tonight, although brief showers were possible.
The area received about half an inch of rain last night. Early this morning, some areas of West Toledo and Richfield Township saw 1.5 inches of water in an hour.
