The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning from 7 p.m. this evening until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. Damaging winds in excess of 60 mph are expected this evening through tonight with sustained winds of 25 to 30 mph behind the front. This hazardous weather outlook is for all of Northwest Ohio.
Some of the thunderstorms tonight ahead of a strong cold front could be severe. The main threat would be damaging winds. A winter storm will move up the Ohio Valley on Thursday night and bring a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Some ice accumulations may be possible by Friday morning.

Temperatures rising into the middle 50s this evening...then falling to around 12 by sunrise. South winds 20 to 30 mph...becoming west 25 to 35 mph after midnight. Gusts up to 60 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent. Wind chill values as low as 9 below after midnight.
Wednesday: Partly sunny and windy. Highs around 19. West winds 25 to 30 mph...decreasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 50 mph. Wind chill values as low as 9 below in the morning.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows around 11. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph...decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Not as cold with highs around 30. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming east in the afternoon.
Thursday Night: Rain showers...snow and sleet likely. Freezing rain likely after midnight. Little or no snow accumulation. Not as cold with lows in the mid 20s. Temperature rising to around 30 after midnight. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
Friday: Freezing rain...snow...sleet and rain likely in the morning...then snow showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 30s. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
