The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued flood advisories for several northwest Ohio counties, including Lucas, Wood, Hancock, Ottawa and Sandusky, through 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
The advisories were issued Wednesday night after the NWS reported that more than an inch of rain fell in northwest and central Ohio between about 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The NWS said the areas under flood advisories can expect another 1/2 inch to 1 inch of rain before 3 a.m. Thursday.
