Duffers can get into the swing of things this weekend when the 10th annual Toledo Golf Show tees off at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter, 7065 Sylvania Ave.
Scheduled events include a craft beer tasting Friday and Saturday, visits by Toledo Mud Hen and Walleye mascots, a golf simulator, and a host of exhibitors willing to sell you products or offer advice on how to improve your game.
Hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 at the door ($6 in advance) with children younger than 12 and parking free. More information at toledogolfshow.com.
■ Sauder Village is “Frozen in Time” on Saturday, with an afternoon festival that invites families to celebrate winter the old-fashioned way.
Winter at the living history museum and farm brings such interactive activities as parlor games, candle-dipping, trolley rides and ice carving demonstrations throughout the grounds and more.
“Frozen in Time” runs 1 to 5 p.m. at Sauder Village, 22611 State Rt. 2, Archbold. Nonmember admission is $13 for adults and $7 for students. Children 3 years old and younger are free. For information or to purchase discounted tickets in advance, go to saudervillage.org.
■ The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont celebrates Presidents Day with Sleigh Rides Through Spiegel Grove on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
South Creek Clydesdales arranges the sleigh and horse-drawn trolley rides through the wooded grounds, a favorite activity of the late president, between 1 and 4 p.m. each day. Tickets can be purchased at the museum or library and are $3 per rider 3 years old and older. No reservations are taken.

■ Aspiring home remodelers are invited to the HBA House and Home Show Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the SeaGate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Ave.
Stroll through this year’s showcase home to check out the latest trends, technologies and features, or tap into the expertise of vendors and exhibitors. A kids’ zone will be on hand for little ones.

■ Step Afrika! brings the tradition of stepping to Lourdes University’s Franciscan Center stage on Friday.
Step Afrika! is the first professional dance company in the world dedicated to this percussive style of dance. The company was established in 1994 as an exchange program with the Soweto Dance Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
